When I arrived at the crossing, the traffic light was red, I had to wait at the zebra crossing. Then I saw a blind man，who was holding a stick，standing at the other end of the zebra crossing. It seemed that he wanted to cross the street. He looked a little anxious.
Just at that time, the policeman on duty hurried up to him. When the traffic light turned green, he kindly supported him and led him to cross the street. When he got to the end of the zebra crossing, he thanked the policeman again and again and with a smile.
Of course, the policeman’s deed deserves the high praise of the public. In our life we should not look down upon the disabled. Instead we should offer necessary help to them just like what the policeman did for the blind man. Thus we can create a more harmonious society.
