Dear Howell,
I am glad to learn from your letter that your parents intend to spend their holiday in our city. Welcome to our city, Wuhan. I think they have made a proper choice; now let me introduce the city to you.
It is an ancient and aisc one of the biggest cities in China. There are many scenic spots and places of historical interest in the city. For instance, the East lake is very beautiful and people often enjoy themselves there. The Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is about 1700 meters long. As fat as Tower of Yellow Crane is concerned, on its top floor visitors can get a bird’s-eye view of the whole city. I believe your parents will have a good time.
In Wuhan there are many large hotels. I’d like to recommend the Qingohuan Hotel, because the food there is excellent.
Please let me know when your parents are coming. I am delighted to meet them.
